ILP-DC is the DC chapter of India Literacy Project (ILP)
a US-based non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated
to spreading the cause of literacy in India. By
empowering every individual we serve with functional
literacy and an understanding of their basic rights and
responsibilities, we strive to be a catalyst for 100%
literacy in India.
The DC Chapter seeks to actively support and host
activities in the Washington DC metro area to
create awareness for the literacy movement in India, raise funds and
collaborate with other local non-profit organizations.
