- How do I purchase tickets for the event?
Tickets can be purchased either by:

- Are contributions to ILP tax-deductible?
Yes. All donations to ILP are 100% tax deductible under Section 501(c)3 of
the IRS code [Tax Id: # 36-3779020].
- What happens to the funds raised from the event?
The funds you raise for ILP will go towards funding educational programs in India.
It takes an average of $60 to educate one illiterate for a year in India and the money
you raise will make a small contribution towards reducing illiteracy in India. Funds
are directly transferred to NGOs in India that have valid FCRA registration from the
Government of India to receive foreign contributions.
- How do you ensure that funds sent are properly utilized?
Monitoring the projects is a critical part of ILP's activities. Our
Participatory Evaluation Process (PEP) involves periodic feedback from
qualified consultants, volunteer visits and audits.
